The PCB has confirmed that a reply has received from Omar Akmal.
The board said that only after reviewing Omar Akmal’s response, any action would be taken in this regard. At present the PCB will not issue any statement on the matter.
According to credible sources in the PCB, Omar Akmal has admitted his mistake. It expected that they will punish with a minimum sentence of six months to one year.
Rs 10 to 20 lakh and warnings will be issued.
If he take any such action in the future, severe action can be taken against them.
Remember that just before the start of the Pakistan Super League, the PSL league was engulfed by another corruption scandal. Omar Akmal, who represented Quetta gladiators in the Pakistan Super League, was suspended for violating board anti-corruption laws.
PCB immediately suspended Omar Akmal under Section 4.7.1 of the Anti-Corruption Code. They have found to be in violation of Article 2.4.4 of the Anti-Corruption Code.

Omar Akmal was supposed to represent the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League but his suspension was banned from participating in all cricket matches, including his league.
Despite suspension from the board, Omar Akmal's older brother and wicketkeeper batsman Kamran Akmal defended him completely.
"I know my brother, he can't do any such thing," he told the media. He is still as transparent as he was 10 years ago when he stepped into international cricket.
He claimed that Omar Akmal cooperated more with the anti-corruption unit than any other player.
