Dubai: UAE Has Granted for Remaining PSL Matches to be Play in Abu Dhabi. According to sources, a seven-member team of the PCB in Abu Dhabi has informed the PCB officials in Lahore. A formal announcement will made by the cricket board soon. After it will clear the situation of amended schedule for Pakistan Super League 6 (PSL). .

Following the news, all Pakistan Super League franchises are ready to send teams to Abu Dhabi. Players will sent to Abu Dhabi on special flights to play PSL matches. Franchisees have begun their preparations in this regard.

A final decision has made to amend the schedule of matches announced from June 1 to 20. This is likely to be done in the next few hours in consultation with the team owners with logistical issues in mind.

Sources said that the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule for the remaining matches of PCL 6 from June 1. However, there is a possibility of a slight change in the schedule while 20 matches including play-off and final. First match will play between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars while final will played in Abu Dhabi.

On the other hand, it will be the responsibility of the PCB to vaccinate players and officials. For which Corona testing has started. The cleared players and support staff members will head to Lahore and Karachi for quarantine from tomorrow.

PSL 6 Postponed Due to Covid 19 and Announcement of New Dates

It is to be noted that PSL, which started in February, postponed after 14 matches due to 6 corona cases. After which the cricket board had announced to hold all the matches in Karachi from June 1. But now due to the increase in Corona cases in the country, it has decided to hold the remaining matches in the UAE.
