Pakistan won the series by defeating South Africa in the fourth T20 by three wickets. Pakistan win the series by 3 – 1. Faheem Ashraf named as man of the match while Babar Azam get man of the series award.

Pakistan won the series by defeating South Africa in the fourth T20

In the fourth and final T20 match of the series played in Johannesburg, South Africa, due to the lively bowling of the Pakistan bowlers, the entire South African team bowled out for 144 runs in the last over. Pakistan achieved the target barely one ball before losing 7 wickets.

In chasing of 145 runs, Muhammad Rizwan and captain Babar Azam started the innings for the Pakistan team. Mohammad Rizwan returned to the pavilion on the second ball without opening an account. After which Fakhruzzaman came to bat and formed a valuable partnership of 91 runs with Babar Azam.

Fakhrazman was dismissed after playing an aggressive innings of 60 off 34 balls. Which included 5 fours and 4 sixes. While Babar Azam returned to the pavilion after playing an innings of 24 runs. Muhammad Hafeez 10, Haider Ali 3, Asif Ali 5 and Faheem Ashraf were the guests of 7 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. South Africa’s Yaniman Milan and Aiden Markram started the innings. However, Markram did not play well in this innings and lost his wicket for 11 runs. However, Milan formed a good partnership of 57 runs with Van Dar Dawson.

Van der Dawson scored his half-century and was dismissed for 52 runs. Milan returned to the pavilion after scoring 33 runs. After which no South African player could enter the double figure.

Captain Hernick Klaassen (9), George Linde (3), Wayne Milder (6), Adenley Flakio (1), Cesanda Magala (7), Fortune 8 and Tabriz Shamsi were out without opening an account. For the Pakistan team, Faheem Ashraf and Hassan Ali took 3, 3 while Haris Rauf took 2 and Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Nawaz took one wicket each.
