Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 6 wickets in the quarter-finals of the U-19 World Cup with fabulous Performance of Abu Huraira and made it to the semi-finals where they will face traditional rivals India.
Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first in the crucial match of the U-19 World Cup which played in Benoni, South Africa on 31- 01 – 2020.

Pakistan’s Tahir Hussain got his first success in the seventh over, when the Afghan team scored 41 runs and Baheem Zadran scored was 11.
Afghanistan’ was added just only 5 runs, then Aamir Khan gave to Pakistan another wicket while total was 46 runs, After that, Farhan Zakhil and Rehmanullah put the score board at 72 runs with 26 runs partnership.

However, Rahmanullah and Abid Mohammadi managed to score till of 99 runs.
Pakistan performed well in the field along with bowling and run out Abid Mohammedi who scored 28 runs and Rahmanullah, scored 29 runs, was dismissed by Qasim Khan.
Afghanistan faced serious problems after Rahmanullah was out and the other batsmen kept stay on wicket much time and the whole team returned to the Pavilion at 189 in the last over.
Abdul Rehman batted well in the last over but he could not go beyond his individual innings of 30 runs, remained the second highest scorer for his team.
In the bowlers of Pakistan, Mohammad Amir Khan took 3 wickets and Fahd Munir took 2 wickets.
Pakistan’s openers were also extremely responsive in pursuit of an easy target and set up a brilliant 61-run partnership, but both openers were out in an attempt to take runs between the wickets.
Haider Ali was the first batsman given out when his score 28 runs, followed by skipper Rohail Nazir, who scored 22 runs was bowled out while score board reached 117 runs.
Fahad Munir added only 2 runs and returned the Pavilion with a LBW score of 127.
Immediately after that, successful batsman Mohammad Harira’s 64-run innings was also completed he given run out at non striking end due to out of crease.
Pakistan’s Qasim Akram and Mohammad Harris shared an unbeaten 63-run partnership for the fifth wicket to give the team a comfortable 6-wicket victory.And qualified for the semifinals as well.

The first semi-final between Pakistan and India will be played on February 4 – 2020, The second semi-final between New Zealand and Bangladesh will be held on February 6, followed by the U-19 World Cup final on February 9 – 2020.
