The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the new ODI players rankings at the end of the Pakistan-Zimbabwe series. According to which fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi of the Pakistani cricket team has got the best ranking of his career. Details issued by the ICC. Under this new ranking, in limited-style cricket, Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam’s distance from second position has been further reduced. Shaheen Shah Afridi, who took five wickets for 49 runs in the first match of the series against Zimbabwe. He has moved up eight places and reach at 16th position in the world rankings. Other Pakistani bowler in the top 20 is Mohammad Amir who is in the eighth position.
Wahab Riaz, who took five wickets in the series, has also moved up six places to 60th position. Fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain, who took five wickets in the last match of the series, has moved up from 202nd position to 120th position.
In this new world ranking, Shadab Khan is ranked 30th, Emad Wasim 40th, Usman Shinwari 44th and Hassan Ali 49th among other Pakistani bowlers.
New Zealand’s Trent Bolt tops the list, followed by India’s Jaspreet Bumra and Afghanistan’s Mujeeb-ur-Rehman.
Although Babar Azam remains at the third position in the world rankings of batsmen, Babar Azam, who scored 221 runs in the series against Zimbabwe, has 837 points, an increase of 8 points over the previous rankings. India’s Rohit Sharma is second in the rankings with 18 points more than him. India’s Virat Kohli tops the list with 871 points.
In this new world ranking released by the ICC, Imam-ul-Haq is 12th. Fakhr Zaman is 18th and Haris Sohail is 33rd among other Pakistani batsmen.
