India have gone to England to play a series of five Test matches in connection with the Test World Championship. 1st was three days warm up match while other four are officially test matches. Warp up and 1st test match both were draw while 2nd test match India won by 151 runs. England Won 3rd Test By an Innings and 76 Runs in the series of India vs England. Now series is at level 1-1.

England Won 3rd Test By an Innings and 76 Runs

Due to an excellent bowling performance by England bowlers, England defeated India by an innings and 76 runs. After losing 1st test, England strongly bounce back and level the series. Forth match of the series will play on 2nd September at Oval ground.

On the fourth day of the third Test of the series in Leeds, India resumed their second incomplete innings with 215 runs for two wickets. Skipper Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara were present at the crease beginning on the fourth day.

Match Summary

Earlier in the day, England took the new ball and returned to the Cheteshwar Pujara pavilion without adding to the overall score. The 91-run batsman made the mistake of leaving the ball which landed on his pads. The field umpire declared him not out but England got a valuable wicket at the beginning of the day on review.

England did not have to wait long for the next victory and Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion after scoring the first half century of the series. He scored 55 before Oli Robinson’s took his wicket.

Kohli’s dismissals are the beginning of a series of falling wickets, which could not stop again. On the third day of the match Indian team was best. But on the fourth day on new ball once again they looked helpless. The visitors did not recover from the loss as James Anderson moved Ajinkya Rahane in the next over. While Robinson did another hunt, he also finished the work of Reshabh Pant.

Mohammad Shami’s six-run innings came to an end at the hands of Moin Ali. While Ishant Sharma was dismissed and Robinson took the fifth wicket. Ravindra Jadeja played a few big shots. But he could not walk in front of the English bowlers and after hitting three fours in a row to Everton. He gave them the wicket in the next over.

On the fourth day of the match, England did not even take 20 overs to put out the Indian team and the visiting team lost the last eight wickets by just 63 runs.
