England squad announced against West Indies first Test

Before West Indies cricket board has announce tour of England in July 2020. Sports were stopped due to corona virus all over the world. This test match will be first international cricket match witch will play under ICC after covid.

The West Indies were schedule to play a three-Test series in England in June. But the series was postpone until July due to the corona virus.

The first two Tests of the series will be played in Southampton on July 8 to 12 and July 16 to July 20. While the last Test will played in Manchester from July 24 to July 28. The reason behind for choosing these both venues is that there have hotels in both venues.

Team Squad Name

According to the details, Ben Stokes will lead the English team. Other players names are bellow.

James Anderson, Joffre Archer, Dominic Base, Stuart Board, Rory Burns, Jose Butler, Zack Crawley, Joe Danley, Oli Pope, Dom Sibley, Chris Vokes and Mark Ward.

Reserve Players Names

In view of the corona virus, 9 reserve players have also kept for the first Test match. In-case of any misadventure reserve players will join the match. Names for reserves player in below list.

James Bressie, Sam Curran, Ben Fox, Dan Lawrence, Jack Leach, Saqib Mahmoud, Craig Everton, Oli Robinson and Oli Stone.

This will be the first cricket test match in a corona virus environment witch will play with amending rules of ICC playing conditions.
And this match will played without spectators. Not allowed people to watch the match in sitting the grounds.
